The United States Government after World War 2 was over glorified in the world. Everything the US did was publicized in the world and was worded in the favor of the US. The USSR was painted in a bad light. However, the US was not as good as they stated.
The United Government constructed a plan to push ahead and stay ahead in the world. A post war world also constructed of a post depression world. According to Villar del Rio Stalin’s 5 year plan actually was the best economic plan during the Great Depression. The US depression moved internationally and the USSR was the country not to suffer. According to Stalin “the Soviet Social System that triumphed”. The US had an economic plan for the rest of the world. The Marshal plan was to push money into the European countries except Spain because there government did not align with the US government. The USSR was also allowed to participate but they did not want to because the US stated how the money was to be used. According to A Kojeve Germany lost their land and desperately needed the help of the US.
Even though the US was number one in everything and was visionaries for the world there were many times there were not. At first USSR was outproducing everyone because of their economic plan before and during the war. However in the 1990’s China outproduced the USSR. The US was not mentioned because they were not producing as much according del Rio.
The US as a country made a push and appeared to be better than they truly were. They caused a great depression across the entire planet. They were not the top industrial power. Their economy was not the best and they only sent money to Europe because they knew they (US) would prosper.
