  1. I like how you interpreted your artifact and tied it into your post’s argument. I cannot even begin to imagine what it was like being a Jewish child in the concentration camps and then being thrown out into the world with no direction after my liberation. You also raise some interesting questions in your final paragraph which I hope we get to touch on in our next class meeting.

  2. You found a very cool photograph because usually, children of such a young age did not survive the concentration camps because they may have been too young to be useful in the labor force. It was interesting to read about how these young Jewish survivors did not always have a place to go home to, which helped the creation of the Jewish State. Oftentimes in his article, Patt mentioned that the Jewish State would have formed regardless, but I feel has though the influx of survivors in need of a home really helped Zionists reach their goal sooner.
