Hello friends! My name is Brady Hess. I am a senior double majoring in multimedia journalism and history. I am from a small town in the coal fields of southwest Virginia called Richlands. It is about two hours down Route 460 from Blacksburg. I cannot believe that my time at Virginia Tech has went by so quick. It just seems as if I moved into Pritchard Hall yesterday..not three years ago. I am a member of the Virginia Tech IMG Student Broadcast Internship. The internship provides commentary for the Olympic sports broadcasts here at Tech. I also am a member of the Blacksburg High School Bruins football broadcast team on 105.3 FM The Bear, right here in Blacksburg. I am a big sports fan. I really enjoy Hokie football! I really look forward to working with everyone in this class. I thoroughly enjoyed Dr. Gitre’s World War II class in the Fall of 2015. My grandfather is a World War II veteran, which makes my interest in all things WWII greater than some other topics in history. If you have any questions about me, or anything in general, just ask.
